About Lecturo

The current global pandemic has dramatically altered the way we work, learn and interact. It has exemplified the need to have infrastructure and technologies in place to be nimble and adapt to unforeseen change. Many of the shifts we are experiencing, with an influx of remote work and learning opportunities, are likely to stay.
Lecturo is the result of a collaborative effort between WideNet and UofT’s Faculty of Information, to define an exemplary standard in distance education that is both scalable and cost effective. Combining WideNet’s video technologies and infrastructure with UofT’s expertise in remote learning, Lecturo has been designed from the ground up to address the evolving distance education requirements of universities and colleges today, and into the future.
